DuckDuckGo Proves There Is No Such Thing As Private Search

According to a new study conducted by Google competitor DuckDuckGo, it does not seem possible to avoid personalization when using Google search, even by logging out of your Google account and using the private browsing “incognito” mode.

the study seems to prove that there’s no easy way to use Google search without the software seemingly trying to determine who you are and whether it can better serve your needs

This study is so absurd because one of the biggest variables was never accounted for: what browser was used and where was it running?

There is no such thing as private browsing or a private search engine.

Why? You’re still using the same browser on your device that is already LOADED with Google identifiers! And that is EXACTLY why there is no such thing as a private search engine.

With Chrome, Google can track every website you visit directly – that is, without first passing through its search engine. In other words, it really doesnt matter what search engine you use, Google still knows where you go, and based on their analytics, what keywords you used to get there. Google can and does monitor people – perhaps upwards of 90 percent of Internet users worldwide – whether they use a Google product or not, and most people have no idea they’re being monitored

How can you avoid being monitored by Google?

You CANNOT use the browser that is on your device, or the device as well. They are already loaded with Google identifiers…and in spite of what you read, you CANNOT completely delete your browsing history. It is a digital footprint and it cannot be erased..however you can wear someone else’s shoes to surf the Web.

With TraceFree, you are anonymous when using EVERY search engine and that is basically what “private search” is. The browser runs in the cloud and not on your device. Each browsing session starts with a brand new cookie free browser so websites cannot profile you.
