FTC Investigates Big Tech And Reveals Google’s Biggest Threat

Federal regulators are now investigating whether Big Tech (Google, Facebook, Apple, Amazon and Microsoft) bought smaller companies that harmed competition, hurt consumers and evaded regulatory scrutiny.

(We focus on google because it is the company we have done extensive research on all of the ways they collect user’s data)

Big Tech is in a race to capture all data created by ALL of your Internet connected devices whether they are in your home, car, pocket or on your body.

Looking at Google’s acquisitions there is a very clear pattern. They acquire ANY TECHNOLOGY that will either help them or prevent them from capturing data on an Internet connected device.

If there is an Internet connected device that generates data and Google cannot capture the data OR DETERMINE WHO IS CREATING IT, they will acquire the company or the technology behind it.

Google has their finger in many pies: devices (notebook, mobile, watch, home), operating systems, browser(S), search, online advertising, artifical intelligence, analytics, youtube, maps, email, news and many many more.

The acquisition that getting the most attention from the FTC is mapping app Waze. This acquisition eliminated a fast-growing Google rival and soldified their grip on VERY VALUABLE data. This application threatened Google’s ability to track a user’s mobile DEVICE

Google’s Biggest Threat Is Revealed

When you look at their acquisition history, any device that creates data that Google cannot capture or correctly determine who is REALLY creating it, is a huge threat to them.

If a device is able to use any of Google’s applications (search, youtube, news, news, maps, ads, analytics etc) without them being able to identify the ACTUAL USER then thei data gathering and delivery model is disrupted.

It would be like Google saying “We can see the device but we can’t tell who is controlling it, where they browsed before and where they are really located“. (Hint: this is done by using the ONLY  virtual private browser)

What happens to google’s ability to deliver targeted ads? The value of a keyword?

Google’s online advertising and analytics revenue gets completely disrupted.

Notice Google hasn’t purchased a private search engine, private browser or VPN because Google can still match the user with THE DEVICE creating the data.

We have spent years studying how Big Tech collects data from an Internet connected device. TraceFree, the ONLY virtual private browser lets you completely hide your identity, location and device from Big Tech.
