Does The Tor Browser Really Keep You Anonymous?

To be anonymous online, means that NOBODY can identify the computer that is actually doing the browsing. Hiding your IP address, blocking trackers or what you searched for does NOT make you anonymous.

You probably read that the Tor Browser keeps you anonymous.

There are several things you need to know first before you use the Tor Browser.

For starters, you have to download the browser to YOUR computer and it runs on your computer.  When you browse, data is sent from (and downloaded to) your computer. That fact alone means your device is not anonymous.

It will slow down your browsing BIG TIME! When you go visit a site the data has to go through many “nodes” before it eventually reaches the final site. The same process happens on the way back from the site.

A lot of websites will not work. There are a number or reasons but you will find a lot of your regular sites will be blocked or just won’t work properly.

It is also HIGHLY LIKELY that Google can track the Tor Browser. You can check here for yourself.

Finally, the National Security Agency (N.S.A.) actually encourages you to download the Tor Browser on their site! If you do download it, chances are you are now added to the National Security Agency Watch List.

So do YOU THINK you would be anonymous?

Let us show you if Tor really keeps you anonymous.

Here is the video.

Do You Really Want To Be Anonymous Online?

Do you want to visit a site or do a search and know that there is no way your computer can be identified, tracked..or even infected?

If you want to be anonymous on the Web, use a virtual private browser not Tor or a VPN.

TraceFree is considered the best virtual browser because not only are you completely anonymous but also you can surf without getting a virus.

With a virtual private browser the browser is never downloaded or runs on your computer. Websites and search engines identify the server where the browser runs…and that’s really what you want.

Whatever private browser you choose, there is a simple Online Privacy Test you can take to see if it works.
